Ask yourself, if this were to be the last Ramadan in your life, what would you do differently? And do it. May you have a blessed Ramadan.
The blessed month of Ramadan is upon us. More than a billion Muslims around the world are about to enter a month of fasting. From dawn to dusk, fasting from eating, drinking, intimate relations, lying, cheating, backbiting, and so much more. This isn't just a month of not eating, it's a month of spirituality and harmony. A time to connect to our Holy Book and make ourselves better people. While the rest of the nation is focusing on a man who has lost the value of life and has so much money he thinks he can purchase a new gender, let us remember the countless of people around the world who don't have enough money to feed their children. Let this be a month of giving. Give more than you have to those who need it more than you. We have so much to be grateful for. At the end of a long summer day of fasting, we know we will have a full meal and any cool drink we want. Let us remember the millions for whom the sun doesn't set because they don't have a meal to look forward to. Let us forgive those who have harmed us.
Ask yourself, if this were to be the last Ramadan in your life, what would you do differently? And do it. May you have a blessed Ramadan.
